The URM 70 coaxial cable is widely used for security applications. This cable is used when connecting CCTV equipment and has a similar construction to the RG59. The URM 70 has a key difference, it has a stranded conductor centre which is less likely to break in comparison with the RG59 type. This may be important if the camera is likely to pan and tilt.
